Paella and Sangria Cooking Workshop

Paella and Sangria Cooking Workshop

It is the best gourmet experience to learn firsthand about Spanish gastronomy and cuisine!

We will visit the Central Market, the largest indoor market in Spain, and interact with the stall owner. We proudly provide high-quality products and ingredients from there.

You learn how to cook paella and sangria from a professional chef, and a licensed guide tells you about the culture, history, and how that influenced Alicante's gastronomy.

The Paella and Sangría Cooking workshop is divided in 4 steps:

Step 1: Shopping! We meet at the Central Market where we spend an hour approx. Along with a guide you get all the best local quality ingredients needed.

Step 2: 5 min. walk to the restaurant.

Step 3: Let´s cook! The chef and your guide explain how to cook the best Paella and Sangria. We offer two different Paella flavours: Sea food Paella with shrimps and cuttlefish (the traditional from Alicante) or Meat Paella with pork lean and vegetables.
This is a workshop, so be ready to cook, cut, grate, peel, etc!

Step 4: Eat and drink, salud! We have lunch all together the Paella, Sangria and some aperitifs (olives, ham/jamón, tomato salad with salted fish and a cold sausage) .

We also include seasonal fruits as a dessert and we provide you with the paella and sangría recepies to cook it at home.
Drinks included: sangria, unlimitted water and soft drinks.

This is the best gourmet experience to know firsthand the gastronomy and culture of Alicante!
Nevertheless, joining this experience you support local businesses, local comerce and local products.
