Day 1: Buenos Aires

Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you’ll be met at the airport by one of our Destination Hosts and have a private transfer to your hotel.

Our Destination Host will check with you the details of your itinerary and add any extra information you might need. He / She will be ready to answer your questions, give you tips about places to go, restaurants to eat and anything else you might be interested in. Day 2: Buenos Aires: City Tour & Tango Show

Stop At: Plaza de Mayo, Av. Hipolito Yrigoyen S/N, Buenos Aires Argentina
In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel to enjoy a 3-hour City Tour (shared service).
Throughout the tour, you will have the chance to do sightseeing around the historical and political center of the city accompanied by a bilingual guide: May Square, San Telmo with its cobblestone streets, La Boca where Buenos Aires turns colorful and tango is ever-present, and the chic and aristocratic Recoleta, where the big palaces remind us that Buenos Aires was once the “Paris of the South”. After some stops on different attractions, you will be driven back to your hotel around noon time and will have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy as you wish.

Tonight, we’ll pick you up from your hotel (shared service) and drive you to a Tango House to enjoy an exclusive 3-course dinner and taste the best of Argentine gastronomy. Pair these delicacies with a selection of Argentine wines! Right after dinner, enjoy the performance of professional dancers that will marvel you with the most sensual movements, while the history of tango comes to life in front of your eyes! At the end of the show, you’ll be driven back to your hotel.

Day 3: Buenos Aires / Puerto Iguazú

At the appropriate time, you will have a private transfer from your hotel to the domestic airport in order to take your flight to Puerto Iguazu.

This little and relaxing town is the gate to visit the impressive Iguazu Falls, which have been recently declared as one of the New Seven Natural Wonders; a must-see destination for any traveller visiting Argentina! After checking in at your hotel, you will have the rest of the day free to enjoy as you wish.

Day 4: Puerto Iguazu - Full-Day Iguazu National Park: Argentine Side

Stop At: Iguazu National Park, Iguazu National Park, Province of Misiones, Litoral
After breakfast, we will pick you up and drive you on a full-day shared tour to the world-famous Iguazu National Park located on the Argentine side of the falls. The Iguazu Falls are one of the most spectacular natural attractions in South America and the world. These 275 waterfalls were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The innumerable footbridges will allow you to get close to the waterfalls until your face gets softly wet.

Stop At: Garganta del Diablo, Iguazu National Park, Puerto Iguazu Argentina
After entering the park, you will go on an ecological train ride through the Iguazu rainforest to access the viewing platform that overlooks the impressive Devil’s Throat. The Devil’s Throat is the most important and most imposing waterfall of all 275 waterfalls since it rises to a height of 80 metres (262 ft). You will not cease to be amazed by the force of millions of litres of water falling at different heights!

Stop At: Iguazu National Park, Iguazu National Park, Province of Misiones, Litoral
As the tour continues, your guide will show you the best views of this world-famous natural wonder as you walk the lower and upper circuit. Both of them are sure to impress you: The LOWER CIRCUIT features a more intimate experience with nature as you walk right into the forest to the heart of the falls, feeling the “spirit” of the jungle. The UPPER CIRCUIT provides magnificent panoramic views from the top of the falls. The elevated walkways will take you over the drop line of several of the main jumps. You will have some free time to have lunch (lunch not included) and you will be driven back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
**OPTIONAL: We highly recommend upgrading this excursion to include a boat tour experience.

Day 5: Puerto Iguazu - Half-Day Iguazu National Park: Brazilian Side

Stop At: Parque Nacional do Iguacu, Rodovia Br-469 Km 1-8, Foz do Iguacu, State of Parana 85853-830 Brazil
At the appropriate time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Iguazú to enjoy a half-day shared tour to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls. Bear in mind that you will cross the Brazilian border, so don’t forget your passport! Today, be ready to take in vast panoramic views! (entrance fee not included). **Time spent at the international border can vary.
Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Iguazu Falls, Foz do Iguacu, State of Parana 85859-899 Brazil
Upon arrival at the National Park, you will board a bus to approach the viewing walkways. Wander through the paths with spectacular panoramic views of the front of the falls. At the end of the circuit, you will approach Floriano Fall and get sprayed by its heavy mist. After enjoying the final views, you will stop for lunch (lunch not included) and then be driven back to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon will be free to enjoy as you wish.**OPTIONAL: Upgrading this excursion to include a boat tour experience is recommended.

Day 6: Puerto Iguazú / Río de Janeiro

Welcome to Rio de Janeiro! An exotic mix of beach and mountains, filled with colorful colonial neighborhoods and modernist big-city style. Day 7: Rio de Janeiro: Full-Day Corcovado & Botanical Garden

Today, get ready to visit the most beautiful postcard of Rio de Janeiro: Christ the Redeemer statue at Corcovado mountain (private service).

After a morning pick-up, you will start by touring the Cosme Velho neighborhood, from where the cog train starts the trip up to the statue, through the Tijuca Forest. Once there, take in the panoramic and extraordinary view of Rio including the Sugar Loaf, the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of the Southern Zone and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Take a break for lunch at a Barbecue House (Carretão Ipanema or similar).

Stop At: Botanical Garden, Rua Jardim Botanico 1008 Jardim Botânico, Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro 22460-000 Brazil
Then, continue to visit the Botanical Garden; until today it is one of the most iconic sites of Rio and a very important center of botanical research. The place holds about 7.200 species of plants & the Imperial Palm trees with its incredible height are the main attraction of the Garden. This place is a shelter of the most exotic flora from many parts of Brazil; Vitoria Regia and the wild orchid from the Amazon Forest, just to name a few! The walk also permits you to see several threatened species of extinction.

At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.

**OPTIONAL (additional cost): Half-Day City Tour with Santa Teresa by Jeep. The city tour allows you to get a panoramic view of the Sugar Loaf Mountain, the beaches of Urca, Botafogo and all the beauty of Flamengo and its gardens, as well as the view of Niterói, the city on the other side of the bay. Also, it goes through the Historic Center of Río de Janeiro by jeep, passing by monasteries, churches, cultural centers, centennial plazas and iconic churches. Plus in Santa Teresa, you have the opportunity to visit the colorful Selaron Staircase, the winding alleys with colorful old houses and glimpse with panoramas of the beautiful Guanabara Bay!
