Sit back and enjoy the scenery and the experience as we take care of the driving in one of our comfortable and spacious Mercedes Benz 12 or 15-seater vehicles. We will visit and taste wines at the cellars of 3 West Auckland vineyards plus stop for lunch at another vineyard for a delicious 3-course lunch and a complimentary wine, beer or juice.
Assemble a group of a minimum of 4 Adults and make this a day to sip, savour and remember and let us personally guide and drive you around the Kumeu Wine Trail. Our tour will visit 4 of the finest vineyards, steeped in history, from the Wineries Out West. You will get the opportunity, amongst others, to taste award winning Sparkling Muscat, Rose, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Albarino, Montepulciano, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Lagrein, Cabernet Sauvignon.
This is a small group tour for that intimate and personal experience guided by a knowledgeable guide who will handle the logistics and navigation.

The Hunting Lodge is a winery based in the heart of Auckland’s Wine Country with a rich heritage and a youthful spirit.
It is the place where the Spence brothers, founders of the Matua Vineyard, created the first New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Driven to do things a little differently and keep the spirit of innovation alive, The Hunting Lodge wine range not only showcases the best wine regions in the country but also captures the spirit of New Zealand’s pioneering nature in wine – the search for something new and interesting. They also have a slightly unconventional contemporary style in terms of packaging and design. Each illustration that makes up the label represents a certain aspect of their site and winemaking process.

Stop At: Soljans Estate Winery, 366 State Highway 16, Kumeu, Auckland 0892 New Zealand

Over 80 years ago, the first delicate grapevine was planted in a West Auckland field. That grapevine grew into the Soljan family winery that is still standing today .In fact, very few wineries in New Zealand can claim to have a prouder winemaking heritage than Soljans. They are the third oldest winery in New Zealand that is still owned and operated by the original family. Five continuous generations have been involved in wine making. This is our lunch stop for a delicious 3 course vineyard lunch with a glass of wine, of your choosing, included in our tour price.

Stop At: Coopers Creek Vineyard, 601 State Highway 16 Huapai, Auckland Central, Auckland 0810 New Zealand

Coopers Creek sits in the heart of the Huapai and Kumeu wine region, about 25-minutes drive north west of Auckland. It is an area steeped in tradition and home to some of the oldest established vines in New Zealand. Coopers Creek continues to innovate, particularly with new wine styles, introducing and pioneering promising new grape varieties that are ideal for cool climate regions. Viognier, Albariño, Arneis, Marsanne and Montepulciano are new varieties for New Zealand, but heading for stardom. Coopers Creek is satisfying a growing demand for these stylish varieties in addition to its longstanding pedigree with Chardonnay, Pinot, Syrah and Bordeaux reds. Crafting wines that are attractive, inspiring and stylish is Coopers Creek’s driving force. Pioneering and innovating has been its goal for the last forty years and that’s unlikely to change.

Nestled in the beautiful Ararimu Valley, just a short and pretty drive from downtown Auckland, Westbrook is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected boutique wineries, having just turned 85 years old. Their skilled wine-making team proudly uphold an extraordinary legacy, using time-honoured traditional and innovative techniques to produce iconic hand-crafted wines . All fruit is hand-picked and the juice carefully blended and crafted into the multiple-award-winning wines including their outstanding Chardonnays and Rieslings. Westbrook wines truly reflect the incredible depth, diversity and flavours of Aotearoa New Zealand.
