It is about 4 hours each way to Normandy from Paris. That being said, they do a great job showing you the beaches at Omaha and the cliffs of Normandy where the battlefield is well-preserved. Sensi our guide made the ride seem shorter and deserves a shout out. We stopped at a cider house as well and bought some of their preserves and apple juice. It provides a moment of tourism to an otherwise somber but important day of visiting Normandy. Others complain you do not get much time at each site, but we found the time allotted (about 45 minutes) to be sufficient to see the monuments and get there and back in one day. If you want to spend more time in Normandy, I suggest an overnight trip.

Seeing Utah Beach and Museum was the best, but there was not enough time allotted for it. Cider tasting was fun, but could have been shortened. Fascinating seeing craters caused by Allied bombing, German bunkers along coast, and view of coastline that Allied forces had to scale. Cemetery was very moving, especially seeing a name and date of death on every cross or star of David. Any of those could have been my father-in-law, who survived Utah Beach and told us many stories about it.

Wow best tour ever! Unbelievable time and John the tour guide made it even better. Johns vast knowledge Of events leading up to D Day was so wonderful to hear. I have to omit I had tears in my eyes during different parts of the day. This is a tour you cannot miss.

We had a fabulous day trip to Normandy. There is so much there. John P was fabulous guide and a real history buff. He reviewed back to Norman times setting the stage for WW II in Normandy. The side trip to the Apple Cider farm provided a quick peek into the preserved agricultural economy of Normandy plus the super cool 15th century barns and home. Not to be missed.

This was outstanding in every way. Our guide, Michelle, was a delight. She made an extra effort to loop up information at the Utah Beach Museum in regards to a family member's ship from the D-Day landings. The tour was exactly as advertised on the website: Utah Beach, Utah Beach Museum, Point de Huc, lunch at a small fishing village, Apple Cider tastings, finishing at bluff overlooking Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. This was our wish list and the tour met it; the fact that it was a small group was a huge bonus.

We selected this specific trip because of the visit to the Utah Beach museum and the chance to see a B-26 on display.
It was overall a very powerful day. Our tour guide was Mary Ann. She was informative, entertaining, attentive and engaging she gave us much history and always made sure that our group of 22 was together when she spoke so that no one missed anything. She even walked through the restaurant at lunch to make sure we all had what we needed and at the end of the tour as we were coming back into Paris, she walked the entire bus aisle, stopping to talk with each traveler to see if they had any comments or questions. She gets an A+
The tour included stood for cider tastings and lunch. I’d read other comments from those who thought that time would be better spent eliminating one or both of those and prior to the tour I would have agreed. But the lunch was very good and stopping at the working farm was pleasant and enjoyable and part of the history of the Normandy region.
Stops at Pointe du Hoc, and the Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer with overviews of Omaha Beach we’re all very moving. We were even able to witness the ceremony of the flags being lowered at the cemetery at 5:00.
All in all a very powerful, informative and moving day.

The tour was excellent. There were 15 of us in the bus. Stopped about an hour and a half in for a bathroom break. Then stopped at Utah Beach first. Then stopped off at a farm to sample cider. Had lunch in a small seaside village. The fish was amazing. Then onto Point du Hoc and Omaha beach. It was an amazing experience. Got back to Paris around 9 pm. It is an all day trip that I highly recommend. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable.

Great experience, beaches, museum, cider tasting, cemetery, and lunch all excellent. Thought the tour guide spoke a little too fast and sometimes hard to understand but was certainly knowledgeable about the subject matter and enthusiastic about imparting his knowledge to us. A definite to do trip for anyone who has not been to the Dday beaches.

Our guides John and Brad were wonderful. John, especially, prepared a great deal before the trip to impart as much information as he could as we drove to Normandy. He put the events of the landing in perspective which made actually visiting the landing spot on Utah Beach all the more awe inspiring. The side visit for the cider tasting was wonderful. Great tasting - lots of choices and the opportunity to purchase something unique. Lunch was also very good - so nice to have fish seaside. The summation of the day with John sharing a letter and story about a visit to the cemetery was emotional and made us all appreciate even more the incredible sacrifices made 75 years ago that changed the course of history for the better.

This is my SECOND TIME doing this tour and it's just as awesome!!! Our tour guide, Sinse was fabulous. He had just great knowledge of all the sites we went to and then some. He was just a fountain of information on Normandy!! Lunch was great and sipping cider at Calvados was great. I loved this tour and would do it a 3rd time. It is a long bus ride and day but to walk on Utah Beach and walk the cemetery at Point Du Hoc is something that most people dream of doing. EXCELLENT TOUR, worth every penny. Thank you for letting me be part of it.

Thanks so much for this wonderful trip. The guide (sorry, I forget his name) was excellent and very informative about the background to WW1, WW2, and the invasion of the allies at Normandy. We could not have been more pleased. The only minor frustration was the lack of time at each stop. Would have been interested in more time at Utah Beach and the American cemetery, but I understood the constraints of travel and back from Paris. Thanks again. I would recommend this trip highly.

First off, if you want to see different features of Normandy, this tour is for you. The guide, John, was excellent, the bus was comfortable, and the restaurant where we ate lunch was good as well as picturesque.. That being said, if you want a tour strictly for history, this probably isn't the tour for you. We had ample time at Utah Beach, and Pont du Hoc, but not as much time at Omaha Beach as I would've liked. There is about a forty-five minute stop at a cider tasting place, which didn't interest me at all. I would've preferred using that time at Omaha Beach. The tour description was clear about the cider tasting stop ,though, so I can't complain. Fortunately for me, there was a cemetery for German war dead about a quarter of a mile from the cider place, so I had time to walk there and get back before the cider stop was finished. At Utah Beach, there was time to watch a ten minute movie, then walk out onto the beach, and at Pont Du Hoc, there was time to walk through the bunkers and see everything that is there. However, at Omaha Beach, the stop is only about forty five minutes long, so there's no time to go down on the beach, and not much time to walk around the cemetery. The visitor's center was closed when we were there, which is just as well since there would've been very little time to go there. It's a little bit of a hike from the parking lot to the cemetery, so you have to hustle to see what you want to see.
On our particular tour, probably 95% of the passengers were American, as is John. We had no problems finding the meeting place, and the tour left right on time. There were three entrée choices for the restaurant (fish, beef, and vegetarian). There wasn't a restroom on the bus, but there is a rest stop about halfway both going and coming. One of the bus drivers had a little bit of an attitude when people brought food back to the bus, but John had said it was OK, so everybody just ignored the driver.
Good tour, but if you're focus is just history, there are other tours that would probably be more satisfying.

The day trip overall was incredible. We had a fantastic time at every stop. It was a fantastic way to experience our history. The cider tasting was incredible, the host was very nice and well learned at his craft. The only complaint I had was one of our guides we had two had so many piercings in/around her mouth that she was extremely difficult to understand. Thankfully the other guide did most of the talking.

The amount of information and sites packed into this day makes it worth every penny. When it says “lunch” I envisioned a sandwich and chips and was pleasantly surprised for a lovely sit down lunch with a main course and dessert. Our guides Anatole and Brad struck the right note with information and letting people rest on the bus when needed. It is a LONG day, make no mistake. We left the hotel at 6:15am to meet at the rendezvous point and got back around 9:30pm. It’s worth it. Wear comfortable clothing and settle in for a memorable day.

The trip made the history of D-Day, so much more come alive! Our 2 guides/ hosts could not have done a better job of providing a fantastic experience, And the driver was very competent and accommodating. We heard so many stories of what led up to the Allied invasion on June 6, 1944, as well as what happened on that longest day! Would go back to do the trip over again with those 2 gentlemen! I am fairly knowledgeable in WW2, and I learned things I didn’t know. The cider tour was a lot of fun too. Enjoyed the cider and the dogs. Lunch was excellent! Great setting at harbor restaurant. Could not have asked for anything more! Thank you so much! Dave and Cindy Wilson
