Full Day Waterfall Adventure & Whale’s Tail Nat Park
This full-day trip to various natural sites will be one of the best tours you will do in Costa Rica. During this tour, we will visit several places starting with a small waterfall in the town of Portalon. After this stop, we will make our way south to Uvita Waterfall. This waterfall has a natural water slide and a platform to jump off into the river. While in Uvita, we will also visit Marino Ballena National Park, which is home to the famous Whales Tail where we can enjoy a nice walk on the sand bar. After Uvita, we will make our way to Pavon Waterfall, the Tree of Life, and last but not least, we will visit Playa Ventanas.

Stop At: Portalon, Portalon, Province of Puntarenas
To start our tour, we will do some off-roading inside the rainforest that looks like a scene out of Jurassic Park. Once we have arrived Portalon waterfall, we will enjoy some time jumping off the top of the waterfall or just relaxing by the water.

Stop At: Uvita Waterfall, Calle Bejuco, Uvita Costa Rica
The Uvita waterfall is one of a kind waterfall due to its natural waterslide formed by thousands of years. Here we can you can slide, swim or simple take pictures of the beauty this place has to offer.

Stop At: Pavones, Pavones, Province of Puntarenas
During our visit to Pavones we will have opportunity to see the Tree of Life that is known to be a sacred tree by the aboriginal people who lived in the area. After this short stop, we will head out to the next waterfall that holds a mysterious rock on top of the cascade. This place is also great for swimming in front of or behind the waterfall.

Stop At: Playa Ventanas, Ballena 60501 Costa Rica
This beach has two twin caves that connect the beach to the ocean. This is a memorable experience when you walk inside these caves made naturally by the ocean.

Stop At: Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, Uvita 60504 Costa Rica
This breathtaking wonder makes the perfect end to our excursion. We will visit the magnificent Whale’s Tail inside Marino Ballena National Park. This park is sanctuary for marine birds, green lizards, monkeys, and dolphins, and it is a prime location for whale spotting during season. The whale’s tail is a coastal bay that allows people to walk over an ocean-covered sandbar onto the tail of the bay.
