The Grutas de Cacahuamilpa National Park is a Protected Natural Area, which according to the National Commission of Protected Natural Areas of SEMARNAT is within the category of national park. It is located in the Sierra Madre del Sur, north of the State of Guerrero and includes part of the municipalities of Pilcaya and Taxco de Alarcón.1 It has a total area of ​​1598.26 ha. And it was decreed as a national park on April 23, 1936 by the then President of the Republic, Lázaro Cárdenas del Río. Considered among the most impressive in the world, the Cacahuamilpa CAVES keep an endless series of capricious figures that cause the admiration of all visitors.
