Stop At: Senate Square, Aleksanterinkatu, Hallituskatu, Helsinki Finland

Senate square is our meeting point, and it is probably the main tourist attraction of the town, where the history of modern Helsinki begins. Here we will find out what are the three beautiful buildings around us!

Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Helsinki Cathedral, Unioninkatu 29, Helsinki Finland

Helsinki Cathedral or the White cathedral is the most famous landmark in the town that you have probably seen pictures of. We can have a look at inside the church together to learn a bit about the religious mindset in Finland. If we are lucky, we can also enjoy some music inside the church. (The church is closed during the church services, usually on Sunday mornings).

Stop At: Kauppatori, Helsinki 00170 Finland

"Torille" is a famous Finnish phrase, which means "to the market" ! Let´s visit the market square to find out what that means! What Finns usually eat or drink, and what can you buy from Helsinki to take home with you- The gulf of Finland has probably many stories to tell us about Helsinki as it has seen many battles throughout the history.

Market square is located by the Gulf of Finland with views to Suomenlinna island, one of the many beautiful islands in the gulf, which is a highly recommended place to visit as it is a UNESCO heritage site. We will of course help you how to get to the island.

We will give you a complete guide to a Finnish sauna and give you some recommendations on the best saunas in the town. Let’s learn why Finns are so crazy about sauna-!

Why do we need two Cathedrals in Helsinki- This one looks different than Helsinki Cathedral, let us find out the reason! We will visit this beautiful cathedral from distance, when we visit the market square.

Stop At: Esplanadi, Pohjoisesplanadi, 00130 Helsinki, Finland

Locally known as Helsinki’s champs de elysee, is home to Kappeli restaurant and Espa music stage. In the middle, stands Runeberg's statue, the national poet of Finland. Here, we will also learn some fun facts about Finland the Finnish language.

Fazer is the first cafe bar in helsinki, where locals gather for a coffee break.

Stop At: Aleksanterinkatu, Helsinki, Finland

Locally known as Aleksi, is of the main streets in the city center with many beautiful art deco buildings, each of which has a lot of amazing stories to tell about the Finnish culture!

Stop At: Helsinki Central Railway Station, Kaivokatu 1, Helsinki 00100 Finland

Central train station of Helsinki is a beautiful landmark in the city center guarded by four massive statues who have many stories to tell us! We will also pass by two other beautiful buildings: Finland’s national theater and Ateneum museum (Finland’s national gallary).

Stop At: Central Library Oodi, Toolonlahdenkatu 4, Helsinki 00100 Finland

Oodi library is the highlight of the tour, where you will need to change the definition of a library you have on mind, because this is different than any libraries you have ever seen, and it is gonna blow your mind!
