La Leona Waterfall Tour And Transportation

La Leona waterfall is one of the best tours in Costa Rica. The tour consists of walking, swimming, crossing through canyons and caves to reach the waterfall. Itinerary

It consists of a walk of approximately 2 hours. We must cross rivers, swim a couple of times and climb the canyons. It is important for us to highlight this, we are going to cross the river walking on several occasions and swimming on two other occasions to reach the waterfall. With the help of guides and life jackets, even people who have never swum in their lives can achieve it, but it is not a super easy task, especially when we are in the rainy season (August, October and September). It's not a super difficult task either. Some recommendations are to bring hiking sandals or running shoes, remembering that these shoes will get wet. It is best to bring comfortable and light clothing, especially clothing that does not come off. In the last part of the experience, we swim through the middle of a beautiful narrow canyon that makes the current concentrate and become strong. We do not recommend water shoes unless they have a wide sole, if the sole is thin, over time the rocks will begin to feel painful on the foot.
