3 Days Desert Trip from Fes to Merzouga & return to Fes

3 Days trip From fes to Merzouga with Overnight in the tent ,this trip takes you through the Cedars forest and the Atlas Mountains & Berber villages ,rivers palmtrees  ,you  will have the opportunity to see the different faces of the Desert and experience the simple life of the Saharan Families .

Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: Fez-Ifrane-Medilt-Merzouga

Stop At: Middle Atlas, Morocco
Depart early from fez you will begin your ascent We pass through Ifrane, a winter ski resort in a totally un-Moroccan style built by the French in the 1930's to resemble a Swiss village;we visit the cedars forest in Azrou you will see the monkeys , drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
Then we continue towards Merzouga in the road we will stop in a panoramic views to see the a huge oasis of palm tree. we reach Merzouga in the afternoon,diner with Saharan music and over night in traditional Kasbah .
Duration: 6 hours

Day 2: Day 2 :Merzouga-Erg Chebbi

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
After breakfast and rest we will start a day Tour to see the different faces of desert dunes, passing through small villages.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Khamlia Gnawa Music, Najm el Khamlia Ksar Khamlia BP 86, Khamlia 52202 Morocco
We will stop by El Khamlia to listen to some Saharan Music, then we will proceed to discover other landscapes such as the oasis...
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Rissani, Rissani, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
We weill visit Rissani the first capital of dynasty Alouite ,including some historical Kasbahs ,and the The famous Market ,you will have the opportunity to test the local food of the area the Pizza Berber.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
,we continue to Merzouga , After rest a mint tea the guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the Erg-chebbi,you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on camel, after one hour you will reach to the desert camp to spend night in a Berbre tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, watch the Stars,and overnight in the Berber Tent .

Day 3: Day 3 :Merzouga-Tafilalte-Fez

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
In the morning you can get up early, take a walk over the sand dunes and watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50 km from Merzouga. We take camel back to the hotel .you will take shower and breakfast.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Meknes
Depart towards Fez we will pass through Rissani and Ziz valley ,you will stop for walk and lunch in a Berber village we continue the way through the mountain and cedar forest we reach fez for the end of the tour .
Duration: 6 hours
