No physical demands or expertise needed. We provide you qualified guides and safety equipment.
ItineraryUpon arrival at our Boathouse you will be escorted to the beautiful location near Kanneliya Rainforest where you will have crystal clear water welcoming you for this 6 hour adventure. We will provide you a basic training on Kayaking and safety procedures including swift water rescue.
After the training we will paddle through some breathtaking landscapes backed by a wall of beautiful mountains. After paddling about 3KM we will meet our 1st challenge and that’s Rapid #1. Once successfully completed the challenge its time to have lunch by the beautiful sand banks and if you are challenging enough we will let you free float this rapid. You will be able to see more than 20 Species of Birds including Sri Lankan Fishing OWL and many eagles.
Once a deliciously made lunch consisting of local vegetables made by village maids you can further paddle down the Rapid #2 which is a class 3 Rapid to add some spice to the journey. After 6 km of distance you can disembark and reach our Boathouse to have a change, rest and relaxation by our beautiful waterfront.
