Historic Charleston Supper Club
Not only is this a “tour” of Charleston where you don’t get up from your seat, you’ll get to dine in the same dining room where 4 US Presidents have dined, including George Washington! This activity is unique to the industry, in that the dishes are all authentic to the time period and the courses are done chronologically beginning in the 18th century, and it’s all narrated by Culinary Historian Mike Hebb.
18th and 19th century dining in the home of the youngest signer of the Declaration of Independence. Enjoy a 5 course fully narrated dinner in the 1760 home of Edward Rutledge, one of our country’s founding fathers. Each of the first three courses represents a different time period in Charleston’s rich culinary history. This is a once in a lifetime experience!Sample Menu
• Beef a la Mode - Not beef with ice cream, but beef made to the highest level!
• Roast Capon with Lemon
• Duck and Sausage Pilau with Apples
• Shrimp Pie
