2-Hour Paddleboard Adventure to Nickajack Bat Cave

We are the only company in Chattanooga that consistently provides guided paddleboard tours to Nickajack Bat Cave. We utilize stable inflatable paddleboards making this tour ideal for beginner paddlers with no prior experience to intermediate paddlers seeking a unique paddling adventure and the opportunity to observe obscure wildlife up close. During the tour, our experienced guides offer paddling instruction and interesting facts about the cave and the endangered gray bats that call it home. Itinerary

Enjoy a short, peaceful paddle to the mouth of Nickajack Cave at sunset to observe hundreds of thousands of endangered gray bats emerge for their nightly feeding. This guided and fully equipped paddleboard adventure will give you a front-row seat to one of mother nature’s most spectacular and mystical occurrences. Perfect for beginners or intermediate paddlers who want a unique paddling adventure and the opportunity to observe obscure wildlife up close.

An experienced guide will offer basic paddleboarding instruction, review water safety information and ensure all gear is fitted properly prior to departure. Following the brief safety talk and paddle instruction, Sunshine will lead you out onto the calm waters of the Nickajack Lake towards the cave, while offering helpful tips and interesting facts about the cave and endangered gray bats.
