Your American Army 4x4 open-air Jeep and tour guide will meet you at the hotel to escort you on the 1.5 hour jeep journey to see the amazing network of the communist guerrilla tunnels at Cu Chi. The tunnel network stretches over 250 kms and extends to three levels underground providing you with a remarkable insight into the hardships, courage, determination and terror of a guerrilla war. There are many sights to see during this excursion, including the ingenuous traps, demonstrations on how their weapons and bombs were made, underground kitchens and a brief propaganda video produced in 1969. Plus, you can even explore a short section of the tunnels and fire an AK47 (at your own risk and expense) if you are feeling brave!
