2 Days Sahara Group Tour Fez to Marrakech via Merzouga

This 2-Day Desert tour from Fes to Marrakech is a great chance to travel through the Ziz valley and the most important places in the southeast of the country. Discover Berber villages and Erg Chebbi dunes landscapes. Also, you will take a camel ride and night at Berber tent in the Merzouga Sahara.

Itinerary

Day 1: FEZ-IFRANE-AZROU-MIDELT-MERZOUGA

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
Pick up from riad-hotel at 7.30 am by your private driver and embark on a journey to one of the most magical places Merzouga- Erg Chebbi Dunes! This is a seven-hour excursion, transversing the Middle Atlas Mountains and some of the most engaging scenery in Morocco.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Ifrane, Ifrane, Fes-Meknes
The Switzerland of Morocco’s known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes and forests. A stone statue of a lion near leafy Parc la Prairie is a well-known landmark.

Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Midelt is a town in Morocco, in the high plains between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountain ranges. With a population of 55,304 recorded in the 2014 Moroccan census, Midelt serves as the commercial center of a large agricultural hinterland.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
After Middle, we will visit and Ziz valley. Then, Reach Merzouga, where the camels are waiting for us! for an enjoyable camel trekking around 45min to our well-equipped camp... Berber drumming and a star-filled sky make for a perfect ending to an extraordinary day. (Night/Dinner Berber camp).

Day 2: MERZOUGA- Transfer to Marrakech

Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise on the Sahara dunes. After that, ride the camel back to the hotel for a delicious breakfast. Then, be ready for an amazing drive to Marrakech.
