Iquitos Jungle Tour for 3 Days

Our Iquitos Jungle Tour is perfect for exploring the rainforest that surrounds Iquitos city. In just three days you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful Amazon landscapes, and spot the local flora and fauna.

Itinerary

Day 1: Iquitos - Monkey Island - Dolphin Spotting - Night Tour - Jungle Lodge

Stop At: Iquitos Amazon Region, Iquitos Amazon Region, Loreto Region
We'll pick you up from the Iquitos airport or you hotel in Iquitos. Then we'll drive to the port of Bellavista where we'll travel by boat to our jungle lodge. We'll have the chance to spot turtles, caimans, and other animals of the Amazon rainforest.
After navigating for around 70km we'll reach our jungle lodge, where we'll have a traditional lunch. Next we'll visit the Monkey Island, located 15 minutes from our lodge. We'll able to see different monkey species such as the Capuchin monkey and the Wooly monkey.
After leaving Monkey Island, we'll have the chance to see some Pink freswater dolphins.
Afterwards, we'll return to our lodge to have dinner. After that, we'll have a guided night hike. We'll spot some nocturnal animals such as lizards and insects.
Finally, we'll go back to our lodge to spend the night.

Day 2: Jungle Lodge - Animal Spotting - Fishing - Victoria Regia - Sunset Spotting - Caiman Night Tour

Stop At: Iquitos Amazon Region, Iquitos Amazon Region, Loreto Region
After having a traditional breakfast, we'll navigate to the Amazon basin. Once there, we'll spot some of the most iconic animal species of the rainforest, including caimans, capybaras and anacondas.
After having lunch, we'll fish piranhas an catfishes on the Amazon river. We'll also spot the Victoria Reiga, the largest species of aquatic plant. Before returning to the lodge, we'll stop to appreciate the sunset on the Amazon rainforest.
After having dinner at the lodge, we'll go on a night excursion to see caimans.

Day 3: Jungle Hike - Sail Back to Iquitos - Visiting Iquitos Native Tribe - Airport Transfer

Stop At: Iquitos Amazon Region, Iquitos Amazon Region, Loreto Region
We'll leave the lodge early in the morning after having breakfast. We'll have a short guided hike of the rainforest. Our local expert will tell us more about the flora and fauna of the Amazon jungle.
Afterwards, we'll return to Iquitos city. After visiting a local native tribe, we'll transfer you back to the airport or your hotel.
