Day 1: Amsterdam

Self transfer to the city centre of Amsterdam to the Hotel - our main meeting point.
Accommodation in the hotel in Amsterdam by voucher after 14:00. By earlier arrival You can use the Luggage storage at the hotel. Free time.

At 19:00 Meeting with the Guide in the hotel Lobby for the Redlight district walking tour.

Stop At: Red Light District (De Wallen), Red Light District (De Wallen), Amsterdam, North Holland Province
Discover Amsterdam’s Red Light District and learn all about the ladies behind the windows, legalised prostitution, the coffeeshops, drugs, history and the modern Dutch culture.

Day 2: Amsterdam — Zaanse Schans & Volendam

Stop At: Amsterdam, Amsterdam, North Holland Province
Walking tour of Amsterdam of its beautiful historical center. You'll see top attractions like Dam Square, the Royal Palace, the Rembrandt House Museum and more.
Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Dam Square, Amsterdam The Netherlands
Dam Square, just five-minutes walk from Centraal Station, was created in the 13th century when a dam was built around the river Amstel to prevent the sea from flooding the city. In the middle You'll see the controversially phallic National Memorial statue of 1956 dedicated to Dutch soldiers and members of the resistance of World War II.

Stop At: Canals of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Netherlands
After the diamond factory visit, you will have an exciting boat cruise on the Amstel River along the most famous canals of Amsterdam: the Lily Canal, the Lord's Canal and the Beer Canal. You will learn as well the historical sights of the city: the Western and Northern Churches, Haarlem Locks, the Central Railway Station, St. Nicholas Church, the Wailing Tower, the Museum Nemo, City Hall, Flea Market, Skinny Bridge, Manhattan on the Amste etc.

Stop At: Zaanse Schans, Schansend 1, 1509 AW Zaandam The Netherlands
In the afternoon Half-day trip to Zaanse Schans & Volendam.

Zaanse Schans is an open-air museum, where 6 windmills are located. In total, more than 10 thousand windmills were built in Holland ! There are also 35 wooden houses of the XVII-XVIII centuries, telling about the lifestyle of the Dutch. Here you can also see a spice mill, an oil mill, a bakery museum, a workshop of wooden clomping shoes, a cheese factory and much more.

Stop At: Volendam, Volendam, North Holland Province
Transfer to Volendam (~ 25 km). Volendam is a fishing village with its own harbor, introducing tourists to the life of Dutch fishermen in the old days, here you can see locals in traditional clothes.
There are many fishing boats in the port of Volendam. A fish auction is held in Volendam. In the harbour, you can buy fish directly from a fishing boat. "If you've been to Holland and haven't eaten herring in Volendam, then you haven't seen the country," the Dutch say, because here is the most delicious herring in all the Netherlands.

Day 3: Amsterdam

Free day in Amsterdam. Our guide will advise you which city attractions you could visit on that day. There are plenty of Museums in Amsterdam including Rijksmuseum which we recommend to visit. It is a Dutch national museum dedicated to arts and history in Amsterdam. The museum is located at the Museum Square.

Day 4: Amsterdam — Alkmaar — Delft — Brussels

Stop At: Alkmaar, Alkmaar, North Holland Province
Alkmaar Guided Visit of the cheese auction in Alkmaar (~ 45 km from Amsterdam) with the show "Cheese Skating" (from 1 April to 29 September). Alkmaar is famous for its cheese market and cultural landmarks. Walking across the medieval city center to explore sights like Stadhuis and the Waag (Weighing House) on Waagplein, main symbol of Alkmaar.

Stop At: Delft, Delft, South Holland Province
Trip to Delft. Departure from Alkmaar to Delft (~90 km). Walking tour in Delft - a popular tourist destination in the Netherlands, famous for its blue pottery, for being home to the painter Jan Vermeer, and for hosting Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).

Departure to Brussels from Delft (~170 km).

Bruges is the most visited Belgian city and home to the Western Renaissance with a romantic old, picturesque canals and a rich history.
