This was one of the highlights of our trip in Paris. Montmarte is a truly incredible place filled with beautiful art and bright delicious markets. Nick took us around and gave us samples of everything from sweet, savory and unique. My husband and I tried Escargot for the first time and we loved it. He gave us a history overview about the town and insight into local every day Life. I would highly recommend this tour. In fact, we already booked a trip back this spring!

Loved this tour! It was a wonderful way to experience Montmarte. Julie -- our tour guide -- was great. She was very knowledgeable about the area, food and drink, and each spot we hit up. She took us to places that specialized and excelled in one thing -- chocolate, pastry dough, bread, etc. -- which made each location feel unique and special, and delicious! I would 100% do this tour again.

Our 3-hour tour included madeleines made by a Michelin-starred chef, artisan chocolate and one of the best macarons I’ve ever had, and wine tasting in a restaurant with tons of charm, but the highlight was definitely the cream puff at our last stop. It has ruined us for any other version. We had a great time, loved the guide (Anne-Sophie) and have fallen in love with the Montmartre area.

Nick did an outstanding job leading this tour. As a chef by his chosen profession Nick brought a special insight and unique knowledge to share with our group about the subjects of wine and food in the Montmartre neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I highly recommend this tour.

Ask for Arno. His passion for his city, food, coffee, and wine are undeniable. We booked the tour just the day before, and we were so lucky to have the time available. We went with the early one. It is a walking tour with hills and steps, so be prepared to .... walk up hills and steps. I am sure they are each a little different but we had amazing coffee, chocolates, macaroons, wine, cream puffs, and a nice charcuterie tray along the way. We had a busy 10 days in London, Paris, and Munich Oktoberfest and this tour may have been the highlight of the entire trip!

This walking tour was so nice and Arno, our tour guide was super friendly and full of knowledge about the area and we never felt rushed. We visited a spice shop, a chocolatier, a cream puff shop, a bread shop, a restaurant where we sampled great wine with cheese and meats and lastly another bakery. Everyplace was top notch and every shop proprietor clearly liked Arno as much as we did. Note that this is a very hilly part of the city so be prepared with comfortable walking shoes.

This walking tour was a lovely way to explore Montmartre, and included many stops to sample food and wine along the way. In fact, we had eaten so many treats during the morning, we sadly couldn't fit in much ice cream at all by the last stop. I would recommend it for anyone who likes to try local cuisine, get some exercise, and learn about Montmartre's colourful past all at the same time,

Great tour tasting desserts, coffee, wine and some cheese, Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke so that all 10 of us could hear her. Could get quite noisy with all the other tourists walking about.. Would recommend this tour anyone, we walked for about 3 hours, so wear good walking shoes.

Sophie was such a fun guide and made our day special. Our first trip to Paris and of course it had to be raining. We almost cancelled the trip but so glad we didn't. Ended up with a group of about 8 of us, surprisingly in the rain on a Wednesday! Sophie, herself was interesting, who's lived in a few different countries including on a cruise ship in the South Pacific. She knows her stuff and was a lot of fun and a ball of information. She took us up and down little side streets where we stopped and tasted everything from chocolate to cream puffs to a full lunch sit down with meats, cheeses, snail and wine. The whole Montmartre experience is fun - a quirky little artsy part of France with interesting shops, restaurants and people in general. We really enjoyed the gorgeous church which is something in itself to see...something that looked like royals would have occupied back in their day but this was simply a religious place to worship and still currently is. We took the finicular (sorry spelling) up as it sits super high up and would be a lengthy climb where you'll see panoramic views of the entire city of Paris - a photographer's dream. We loved the area so much at the top - that we decided to stay there and spend the rest of our day wandering the streets of Montmartre so we opted to miss the last half hour of the tour, which I'm sure would have been perfect. We just didn't know how to get back up and wanted more time there..... Don't miss this one - you will start out in the Red Light District which is a little scary and makes you wonder why you're there.....but once you get going, you will know why! Ask for Sophie - she's a gem!!!!

My sister and I have been on numerous food tours and this was one of our favorites. Our guide (Anasophie) gave us so much history of the Montre area of Paris. The food stops were all excellent. The wine tasting was with our lunch. We highly recommend this tour.

We loved this!!! We were so glad we did a guided tour of Montmartre as this gorgeous neighborhood is more of what you expect Paris to be! We got to try so many samples of GOOD quality French food including - chocolate, Macarons, 3 different pastries, SNAILS, ice cream, a few glasses of wine, cheeses, cured meats, while being guided around this gorgeous neighborhood! Julie was amazing and very qualified. Loved getting the run down on each of the French wine regions!

This was the third food and wine tour (2 in Italy) we booked with Viator. It was great. Our guide Julie Montchovet, was fantastic. We only had 9 people on the tour and as in the others everyone was very friendly. We sampled pastries, chocolate and spices. I was very impressed with the spice shop and the varieties of pepper and bought some to try when I smoke some meals. We finished with some wine tasting, cheeses and escargots. Our guide pointed out several landmarks and we had photo ops. Overall I highly recommend it. There was a lot of walking and mostly uphill.
