Stop At: La Santisima Trinidad De Parana, Ruta 6, Km 31, Trinidad 6000 Paraguay
Trinidad, designed by the Roman architect Primoli, is the best preserved of the Jesuit ruins in the "Paraquaria" region. Here we will learn about the history of this groundbreaking social experiment as we explore the dramatic redstone ruins.

Stop At: Parque Ecologico Ita Cajon, Trinidad Paraguay
The Jesuits got their stone from the nearby Ita Cajón quarry, now a beautiful park. Statues based on the Guaraní mythology allow us the opportunity to learn about the fascinating indigenous culture of the region. Afterwards we will try some locally made Yierba Mate ice cream - unique to this area!

The Moorish-inspired Jesus de Tavarangue, the "city that never was" is in stark contrast to Trinidad.
