Both Noritake and Toyota originated from Central Japan, which is considered to be the most important region for advanced manufacturing. With live demonstrations and dedicated guides, learning more about the foundations of Toyota’s studious, challenging, kaizen (striving for improvement), and creative spirit will be an exciting once in a lifetime experience. In commemorating the 100th anniversary of Noritake Co., Limited., Noritake Garden was opened on October 5, 2001 on the premises of Noritake’s headquarters, the very birthplace of modern pottery.

Stop At: Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, 4-1-35 Noritakeshinmachi, Nishi-Ku, Nagoya 451-0051 Aichi Prefecture

Established by the Toyota group, this museum preserves and uses a factory building used during the Taisho era (1912–1926) which still remains in the birthplace of the Toyota group as an industrial heritage.
