Ijen & Bromo: 3-Day Volcanic Adventure Tour

You're not necessary to be an astronomer to join, but with your passion in astronomy or stargazing, and nature photography, all are welcome to participate. Due to the favour of weather and location, we had good time in our past trips spent in Mt Bromo for both day or night activities.

Mount Bromo is really an active volcano that is found in Java, Indonesia, and offers some of the most spectacular views of the Milky Way and of Mars and Jupiter. Rising 7,641 feet (2,329 meters) Combining the stunning environment with clouds covering the bases of the volcanos and clear skies makes for a truly astounding view.

Itinerary

Day 1: Surabaya - Bondowoso

Stop At: Surabaya, Surabaya, East Java, Java
Tour package started with picked you up at Surabaya Airport / Train Station / your hotel at Surabaya ( it will be better before 12 pm )
Arrive at Hotel in Bondowoso and take a rest.
Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Bondowoso, Bondowoso, East Java, Java
Transfer out to hotel in Bondowoso (approx. 5 hrs).

Day 2: Ijen Blue Fire - Bromo Area

Stop At: Ijen Crater, Banyuwangi 68454 Indonesia
Ijen Tour start at 00.00 am from hotel then directly drive to Ijen parking lot with duration trip 90 Min drive.

Then I will bring you to the trail head at the Ijen ranger post, where you will start the trek to the Ijen crater (approx. 1- 1.5 hrs). At the crater rim to seeing an amazing Blue flame from the gigantic crater and the 200 meter deep turquoise sulfuric crater lake.

You will also be able to witness how some of the world’s toughest workers battle the toxic fumes and treacherous terrain to haul 70kg sacks brimming with sulphur deposit to make a living.

After enjoying Mt. Ijen we stop at Local cafe for coffee break, then back to the Hotel for shower and check out then transfer to hotel in bromo.

Day 3: Bromo Tour - Madakaripura Waterfall - Surabaya

Stop At: Mount Bromo, Jl. Bromo Km. 3 Probolinggo City Town, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Indonesia
At around 02 am to prepare for Mount Bromo Stargazing and Milky Way View. After being witness the beautiful Night Sky the we are continue seeing sunrise views over the Bromo landscape.

Rising from the flat volcanic sand bed of the caldera is the dormant core of Mount Batok (2440m) and the active volcano of Mount Bromo (2329m). Further south beyond the crater wall lies mighty Gunung Semeru (3676m) – the highest and most active volcano in Java.

After enjoying the sunrise, then continue the exciting ride on the 4WD over the Sea of sand to Bromo crater rim.

After enjoying the sunrise and bromo crater, then back to the hotel for having breakfast and shower and check out.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Madakaripura Waterfall, Sapeh, Lumbang Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, Probolinggo 67238 Indonesia
Finish enjoy Mount Bromo crater then continue the trip to Madakaripura Waterfall for 1 hour driving then do a trekking to Waterfall for 30 minutes by using slippers and acompanied by local guide.

After that transfer to Surabaya Airport / Train Station / or your hotel in Surabaya.
