World Heritage classified sites in Portugal: Tomar, Batalha and Alcobaça!

Also known as the “Templar City”, in Tomar we will unveil the charms of the “Mata dos Sete Montes”, the Castle and Convent of Christ (listed by UNESCO as World Heritage since 1983)! There will also be time for a quick stop so that you can enjoy a tasty meal at one of the many restaurants located in the typical commerce streets on the banks of Nabão River.

In Batalha we will visit the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória (also known as Mosteiro da Batalha, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage since 1983)!

Then we will be visiting Alcobaça and its beautiful Monastery, one of the most imponent testimonies of Circestience architecture in all of Europe (classified by UNESCO since 1989).

Stop At: Convento de Cristo, Igreja do Castelo Templario, Tomar 2300-000 Portugal

We'll visit the Convent of Christ, World Heritage of UNESCO

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Castelo de Tomar, Colina do Castelo, Tomar 2300-000 Portugal

We'll visit the Knights Templar Castle and learn about this very important part of Portuguese History!

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Batalha Monastery, Largo Infante Dom Henrique 2440, Batalha 2440-484 Portugal

We'll visit everything of the Monastery and village of Batalha!

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Monastery of Alcobaca, Praca 25 de Abril, Alcobaca 2460-018 Portugal

We'll visit the Monastery of Alcobaça and the center of the village... and will still have time to pick-up some pastry if you would like (we know the perfect place ;) )
