We will start the trip from Samarkand city and head to the border (checkpoint Dzhartepa) with Tajikistan which is located 40 km from Samarkand

Stop At: Maschidi Markazii M.bashoro, FJX8+4GP, Prospekt Rudaki, Panjakent, Tajikistan

The ancient city that was destroyed by the Arabs is a great source of pre-Arab wall paintings.
All the frescoes found during the Soviet period are now considered one of the important collections of the Hermitage Museum.
From the hills you can see the entire city of Penjikent which is considered one of the best combinations of local villages with Soviet multi storey buildings.
