The Don Quixote Experience Tour was excellent. The tour guide Beatriz was brilliant and very friendly and she described the visited sights and history behind them very well. We visited the La Mancha area and towns referred to/associated with Don Quixote and of course the windmills which were beautifully restored and some actually well preserved. The Belmont Castle and the winery we visited were also beautiful and worth a visit. The winery tour was also very good and we tasted some excellent wines. We actually bought a couple of bottles. The lunch at a local village was sumptuous. Highly recommended tour

This. Was one of the best tours I have ever been on. The guide was amazing informed and interesting. She did a great job of using 2 languages without leaving anyone out. The castle and windmills were a delight. The winery tour was really good I had been on one in France recently and this one was just better. The wines tested ran from new to some of their bes. It was just a great day!

The tour guide was great! The windmills were closed because of heat. We were cooking out there but it was a beautiful sight to see. We added the wine tasting. Now we know more about good wine. The food at the restaurant was great! They made it very easy to be GF while traveling (thank you). I rewatched the Man from La Mancha the night before the tour. This made the information much more relevant.

Even better than expected, and I expected a lot! This was a truly awe inspiring trip---from Madrid to La Mancha of Don Quijote.... A friend of mine advised me not to go on this trip cause he said it was a too intensive trip and journey... Thanks god I dind't listen to him cause it was completely the opposite!!!
Realizing that an extraordinary amount of work is done by the office and support staff, I still have to say that this trip would not be what it was without the guides, Clara and Jorge, going above and beyond what anyone could have expected. They have got to be among the best.
Thank you to the entire gang at Julia Travel!

I loved this tour because you can see a lot about the beautiful country side in La Mancha: vineyards, sunflowers fields, olive trees, castles...The castles of Belmonte and the house of Dulcinea were really rich in history and literature. The wine tasting and the lunch were also good.
The visit to the windmills was absolutely magical.

I would add two more things to make it PERFECT: a walk around the old part of El Toboso( the main square) and a stop somewhere in the country side with a good sight to take a breathtaking picture of its idiosyncrasy ( vineyards, olive trees, sunflowers…).

Started late and very long drive but not fault of tour guide. Day was very cold, and windy but still enjoyed. Guide was very informative and kept good control of our semi-large group. Had a good meal at a local restaurant which was included and were given enough time to eat and enjoy. The windmill was closed which was a disappointment but not the fault of out guide.

Although the area of the windmills and the Dulcinea home was very interesting, it is only a small part of the trip. We enjoyed the winery tour and tasting and the castle tour, but I would have left one out to actually drive some of the route in the Don Quixote novel. Our guide was a very attentive person. Sorry, I have forgotten her name. The lunch was very good.

We loved La Mancha, history, the stop at the mill, and the wine tasting stop was also quite interesting! We even bought a couple of bottles something we usually avoid so we don't have to drag heavy bags back home. The guide however even though we requested an English speaking guide was a bit of a disappointment. She not only couldn't speak English but kept asking us how do you say this or that and she also could not answer other questions even in Spanish. A couple of answers she did give, she qualified them stating she didn't really know for sure but that was her opinion. I would definitely do this tour but avoid Kate English tour.
