3 Days Nyerere (Selous) NP Private Tour and Boat Safari

Selous is one of the largest game reserve areas in Africa and is a beautiful and majestic place. The game reserve has a large number of animals and birds including lions, elephants, giraffes, and the African Buffalo. Boat safari in the Rufiji River in the afternoon is another great way of game viewing. The lodges selected are also very clean and modern, with running water and private toilets.

Itinerary

Day 1: Boat Safari at Nyerere National Park (Selous GR)

Stop At: Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Dar Es Salaam Region
At 07:30 a.m. you will be met by our team of tour consultant and driver guide at your hotel or airport. The road trip will take a maximum 4 to 5 hours (218.7 km). After lunch and refreshment at the lodge, you will proceed to the enjoyable afternoon boat safari.
Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, all inclusive.

Day 2: Game Drives at Nyerere national park

Stop At: Nyerere National Park, Tanzania
This is a full day of game drives for you to see and view all the animals at this park and it will begin after your breakfast. Animals common at this park are Elephants, Zebras, Girrafe, wild dogs, lions, hippoes, crodile, and even Cheater can be seen some days. Break for a picnic lunch in the center of Nyerere park.
After lunch you will enjoy an afternoon of game viewing in the Selous - an amazing experience. The Selous is also home to a lot of bird species. Bird watchers will certainly enjoy this tour.

Day 3: Walking Safari in the Nyerere national park

Stop At: Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Dar Es Salaam Region
Today you will go for a morning walking safari accompanied by a bushman where you will be able to enjoy the Selous outdoors and hear the beautiful sounds of birds and other small animals. Breakfast will be served at the lodge after your walk.
Afterwards you will check out and be driven back to Dar es Salaam with a packed lunch box. You will be dropped off at your hotel, airport, or ferry port.
