Day 2: EXPLORATION OF THE ANGKOR TEMPLE AND PHARE CIRCUS BY BIKE Stop At: Angkor Archaeological Park, Taphul, Siem Reap Cambodia
Khmer Culture and the Origin of Cambodian National Pride. With more than 1000 sanctuaries, the ancient temple city offers the greatest "density of temples" on earth. The buildings date from the period 802 to 1295. Angkor Wat is a geometrically designed complex surrounded by a large water reservoir. The inner and outer walls are decorated with reliefs of 2000 celestial dancers.

The day begins with a biking tour to the royal city of Angkor Thom, the city surrounded by a long wall and a deep moat, which houses the most important temple complexes such as the Bayon, Baphuon, the Leper King's Terrace of Elephants and Phimeanakas.

Stop At: Ta Prohm Temple, Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 21000 Cambodia
Continue to Angkor's next attraction, the jungle-clad Ta Prohm. This natural temple, surrounded by the jungle, still looks like it did when the temple complexes were discovered.

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
The next stop is Angkor Wat, which took over 30 years to build and today displays some of the finest examples of Khmer and Hindu art. The temple has the longest continuous bas-reliefs in the world, providing insight into the history of Hindu mythology. Angkor Wat, like the other temples of Angkor, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992. There is also a monk blessing ceremony for you here.

Day 3: TONLE SAP & PHARE CIRCUS Stop At: Tonle Sap Lake, Lower Mekong Basin Cambodia
Today we will drive to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest lake in Southeast Asia. The lake, which has been designated a UNESCO biosphere reserve, is only a 30-minute drive from Siem Reap. On the way we observe the production of bamboo sticky rice by local people. One of the most famous Cambodian specialties, this sticky rice is mixed with black beans and coconut milk, placed in a bamboo tube and grilled over a wood fire. Once there, take a boat to the floating village (Duration: approx. 04 hours).

Stop At: Phare, The Cambodian Circus, Intersection of Ring Road and Sok San Road South of intersection with Sok San Road, Siem Reap 17253 Cambodia
Tonight, you will visit the Phare Circus which starts at 8 PM. The Phare Circus is an amazing mix of traditional and modern theatre, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling and stories about Cambodian life, customs, and society. The purpose of the Phare Circus is to improve the development of local communities through education and the promotion of arts practice. At 9 PM, we will return to the hotel.
