ItineraryDay 1: Death Road By Bike + Bus La Paz to Uyuni Stop At: La Paz, La Paz, La Paz Department
The mountain biking starts at 8:30 a.m.
We go by transport to La Cumbre (1hr. From La Paz), which is the starting point at 4.700 m.a.s.l.
First, we start with a 22 km downhill on asphalt (tarmac) road. At the police checkpoint (after 45 min.) all tourists pay 50BOB for the entrance to the national park. This first section is for you to develop confidence and get used to the bike. Don’t worry, the safety van is always behind the group and we have water stops, photos and bike checks.
We then hit “Death road” always in a compact group (safety first). We will take some snack breaks for chocolate, fruit and more. Finally, the end of the tour is in Yolosa at 1:00 aprox. At this point we arrive so dirty that we need a shower, so the next stop is in a hotel with showers, a swimming pool and a lunch as well. Coroico´s weather is a warm tropical town at a much lower altitude than La Paz.
We will arrive in La Paz Approximately at 8:30 where you will be dropped off near Bus Station.

Day 2: Uyuni Salt Flats Full Day + Bus Uyuni to La PazStop At: Salar de Uyuni, Uyuni Bolivia
Arrive at Uyuni at 7:00 am, and have free time to visit the city.
Then, go to our office in Uyuni at 10:00 a.m. for the check-in tour.
Then start your tour to Uyuni Salt Flats full day at 10:30 a.m.
with a visit to: Uyuni’s ‘Train Graveyard’ (the first locomotives in Bolivia), Colchani (salt miners´ workshops), and see handicrafts made of salt and textile art made of llama and alpaca.
Take photos along the vast white expanse of salt. Then, visit “Ojos de Agua Salada”, Hotel - Museum of Salt, the famous Island "Flags of the world"
Lunch in “Isla Incahuasi” then, have time to hike to the island to see giant cactus and rock formations made of petrified coral.
Take time to organize your group for a fun perspective and proportion-distorted photos on the blinding white surface of the salt flats.
Then, the unique experience of seeing a beautiful sunset over the salt flats with a glass of wine.
Arrive back to Uyuni by 7:00 pm take your bus from Uyuni to La Paz at 9:30 p.m.
