Summer Full Day Tour to Vestmanna, Kvívík, Gásadal and Sandavag

On this tour we'll visit Vestmanna and go sailing to see the bird cliffs. When we arrive back at the harbor we stop for food and then contine on to Kvívík. Kvívík is nestled in a valley on Streymoy island. This village has historic route dating back to the Vikings.

Drive from Tórshavn to Vestmanna

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Vestmanna Bird Cliffs, Vestmanna, Streymoy Faroe Islands

You drive from Tórshavn to Vestmanna, from where you sail to and perhaps between the incredible bird cliffs

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Vestmanna Tourist Centre, Vestmanna, Streymoy FO-350 Faroe Islands

We will enjoy a lunch buffet here

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Kvívík, 340, Faroe Islands

We will walk to the viking excavations near to the harbour
The stop will take arround 20 min

Duration: 1 hour 5 minutes

Stop At: Gasadalur, Gasadalur, Vagar Island

Walk through the lovely old settlement, and ends at the beautiful Múlafossur waterfall

Duration: 40 minutes

Múlafossur is perhaps one of the most photographed waterfalls in the Faroe Islands

Stop At: Sandavagur, Sandavagur, Vagar Island

Sandavág's church is one of the nicest churches in the country, inside the church there is a rune stone whose inscription says that the Norwegian Torkil Onandarson from Rogaland was the first to build on this place. The stone is believed to be from the 13th century.

Drive from Sandavág to Norðadalsskarð

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Norðadalsskarð, 186, Faroe Islands

From here you get a fantastic view of the islands of Koltur and Hestur

Duration: 10 minutes

Pass By: Vagar Island, Vagar Island

You drive on through the beautiful subsea tunnel to Vagar, where the village of Gásadalur is located

Stop At: Torshavn, Torshavn, Streymoy

On the way from norðadalsskarð to Tórshavn you can enjoy the lovely view as we drive up in the mountains
