Our popular private Learn to Surf Lessons are designed as a personalised program tailored to each individual. Whether you are standing up for the very first time, learning to trim across the wave, or your ready to head out the back and need help with your positioning Private Lessons are the best way to improve your experience in the ocean. Designed for anyone who wants to give surfing a try, we promise to give you an authentic taste of surfing, useful safety information about waves and the beach, and a smile that you won’t be able to wipe off for hours!

Hippy Surfcamp offers you 7 day accommodation inclusive delicious breakfast and lunch. You will learn 10 hours in total during your stay. Apart of it, you will have free access to all surf equipments for your use so you can practice more what you have learned during the day.
We also arrange a movie night as well as a BBQ night with fresh sea foods with like minded people around the world.
During these lessons you can expect to be introduced to understanding the ocean and how it works, water safety, correct board handling, surf etiquette, correct paddling technique and also the fundamentals of good surfing. All our coaches have years of ocean knowledge under their belts and they are there to answer any questions you might have.
Our coaching staff are all Level 1 qualified Surf Instructors with ISA, hold current Surf Rescue Certificates and have Working With Children Checks, so you are the best hands possible.
