In order to see it for yourself, it is not enough to have dinner in one of the restaurants on rue Mercière. This title was given to Lyon not only by the famous bouchons, but also by numerous farms and wineries located in it’s region.

The unique history of the caves of this winery will not leave you indifferent. According to Frédéric, the owner, the history of these caves begins in the XVII century with the introduction of taxes by Louis the Great (Sun king of France). Precisely down there many greatest valuable pieces were often hidden from the royal treasury. This place perpetuates family traditions inside its wine cellars that take their roots in the XVII century. It is with great care, skill and desire for quality that Frédéric resumes family activities and pays homage to his ancestors with the help of the Bélive cuvee.

Since 1960, Cave Saint Desirat has been operating on the terracedvineyards bordering the right bank of the Rhône river, part of Saint Joseph AOP.
600 hectars, over 350 wine makers, by hand grape picking, controlled vinification and high-performance equipment.
