One of the best known wooden temples in Kyoto with a spectacular panoramic view over the city (this is a suggested site).

Stop At: Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, 68 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto 612-0882 Kyoto Prefecture

Unending path of vibrant orange torii gates (this is a suggested site).

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Sannenzaka Ninenzaka, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto 605-0001 Kyoto Prefecture

Beautiful and well-preserved ancient streets (this are suggested sites).
