A lovely hiking tour to the magnificent Richtis Gorge and its waterfall. The amazing gorge of Richtis starts from the stone-arched bridge of Lachanas (19th century) which has a tragic history to tell. The route continues in a lush landscape along the river, within an amazing scenery of East Crete. The mountain is actually above your head, platans, oleanders and sage are numerous, and the smells of fresh herbs change constantly.

The highlight of the gorge is the beautiful waterfall with a height exceeding 20 meters and the small pond formed below it, where you will have the possibility for a refreshing dive.
