8-Day Chobe and Okavango Delta Tour from Victoria Falls

This tour features some of the 3 major tourists destinations in southern Africa namely Victoria falls, Chobe National park and Okavango delta.

Itinerary

Day 1: Victoria Falls

Pass By: Victoria Falls, Victoria Falls, Matabeleland North Province
On arrival at the Victoria falls International Airport, you will be met by Africa Zim Travel tour guide and transferred to your chosen lodge. You will finish your day with a spectacular sunset cruise.

Day 2: Victoria Falls

Pass By: Victoria Falls, Victoria Falls, Matabeleland North Province
After breakfast we enjoy a free walking tour of the Victoria Falls. You will stop at various vantage points to view the falls and walk through the rain forest whilst witnessing the rainbows and feeling the spray and thundering noise of water falling into the gorge. The rest of your afternoon will be spent at leisure, where you can book one of many activities with your guide.

Day 3: Chobe National Park

Pass By: Chobe National Park, Chobe National Park, North-West District
Transfer by road to Chobe National Park at about 11am located 100 km west of Victoria Falls, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Accommodation is the Moorish styled Chobe Safari Lodge. Afternoon Game drive.

Day 4: Chobe Safari Lodge

Pass By: Chobe National Park, Chobe National Park, North-West District
Early morning game drives in the Chobe national park. Tea and coffee is served before the game drive or during the game drive. After game drive at around 9:30am to 10am you will have your full breakfast. It is the best time to see the big cats like lions, leopard and cheater. Late in the afternoon you will embark on sunset cruise in the Chobe river cruising in the Chobe national park. The trip starts at 3pm. It’s one of the best experiences to watch the game from the boat and you will get closer to the animals

Day 5: Elephant Sands

Pass By: Nata, Nata, Central District
Elephant Sands is a bush lodge & campsite in the north-eastern part of Botswana and its 250km from Chobe or Kasane. Enjoy viewing the elephants at a natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Watch these impressive creatures whilst they drink at only a couple of meters away from you, a unique experience!

Day 6: Okavango Delta

Pass By: Okavango Delta, Maun, Ngamiland East Botswana
Transfer by road through Nata to the heart of the Okavango Delta, a unique wetland system of rivers, crystal clear channels, islands and lagoons that creates a safe haven for innumerable bird and wildlife species. We spend 2 nights at Cresta Lodge for 2 nights. The rest of afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Okavango Day Trip

Pass By: Okavango Delta, Maun, Ngamiland East Botswana
Soon after breakfast on this day you will start your Okavango delta day trip experience through Mokoro and game walks. It’s a one day trip in the delta with professional guides and it’s inclusive of packed lunch. Explore the Okavango by Mokoro, a traditional dug-out canoe, by boat or wilderness walks on nearby islands.

Day 8: Maun Airport

This is the day we will say good bye to each other. You will pack your bags and later own have breakfast and wait for the departure time of the transfer. After Breakfast then you will be transferred to the airport. Contact details are shared as well. Trip Ends.
