This 6 days wildlife and ultimate gorilla experience safari will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will enjoy game drive plus a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel thereafter to Bwindi for the ultimate Gorilla experience then conclude with Lake Mburo National Park for the game drive and nature walks. The tour will start and end in Entebbe/Kampala.
ItineraryDay 1: Day 1: Depart from Entebbe/Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park Stop At: Uganda Equator, Masaka Road, Kayabwe Uganda
After breakfast, you will be picked up by one of our representatives from Ssemambo Alex Tours & Travel who will brief you about the journey and thereafter you will embark on the 6 hours journey Southwest wards to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way you will have few stopovers at the Equator, here you will have refreshments and also take some photographs. Later you will have another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch.
Thereafter you will proceed to the Park as you drive through the spectacular landscape characterized with open grasslands, tea plantations, Ankole long horned cattle, the Rift valley Escarpment and various woodlands. You will reach the park in late afternoon and have a game drive as you drive to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking – Boat cruiseStop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
After breakfast, you will head to the headquarters for briefing then after head to Kyambura gorge to track Chimpanzees and other primates. Among the primates you will encounter here are: Chimpanzee, baboons and monkeys.
After lunch, you will go for a 3 hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. During the trip, the sight of wildlife including giant hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others will fascinate you. You will also be able to spot out different species of birds such as the shoebill, herons and kingfishers at the water shores. You will have dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 3: Day 3: Game drive – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National ParkStop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
After an early morning breakfast, you will have a game drive within the Ishasha sector to see the tree climbing lions, buffalo, leopards, elephants, and sight at different bird species. From here you will proceed to Bwindi where you will arrive in the evening. You will check in, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Day 4: Mountain Gorilla trekkingStop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
After an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the park rangers about do’s and don’ts while trekking in the park, here you will also be divided in a group of 8 individuals and after you will start off your gorilla trekking guided by the park rangers.
This is a memorable and an amazing experience watching the Mountain gorillas feed, play around and also do their day to day activities. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates and once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. Later, you will return to your lodge and in the evening you may choose to relax at the lodge or visit the Batwa community which will expose you to their culture basing on how they live, dance, and also hearing stories concerning their culture which will leave you amazed. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 5: Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National ParkStop At: Lake Mburo National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Western Region
Have breakfast and set off to Lake Mburo Nation Park via Mbarara town. You will arrive in the early afternoon and take some rest before proceeding out for the evening game viewing. On the game drive, expect to see the gigantic eland antelopes, zebras, topi, impalas, Uganda kob and Cape buffalo among others and later, relax at your lodge where you will spend the night.

Day 6: Day 6: Nature walks – Transfers to KampalaStop At: Lake Mburo National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Western Region
Enjoy your early breakfast and proceed for the Mburo morning park (bush) walk in the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. On this early morning guided walk; you will have the opportunity to encounter; Zebras, Giraffes and Eland, Topi and other antelope, Cape buffaloes among others.
Take the Trail to the top of the hills and see Lake Mburo and beyond and from this vantage point, you will have a great view of 9 of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo National Park. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for checkout and then hit the road to Entebbe to catch up your flight/Kampala to your hotel.
