After breakfast, leave the city for a scenic drive through the bushveld to the Samburu Area. Arrive in mid-afternoon, and check at Larsens Camp for lunch and freshening. In the late evening, join a game drive in the Samburu National Reserve, a unique chance to see wildlife in their natural habitats and experience its unique ecosystem. After a 2-3 hour game drive, you return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Wake up for a morning game drive at the park in search of the three big cats, Lion, Cheetah, leopards, and other mammals, a great way to catch a glimpse of wildlife as they begin their day. When the hit is too high, relax at the camp before embarking on the late evening game drive. The evening game drive offers a different perspective on wildlife and its behaviors and the opportunity to see nocturnal animals. With the combination of early morning and evening game drives, the day carries a memorable experience.

On this day, you will depart Lersens camp and soak in a scenic transfer to Sandai guest cottages in the Aberdare area for a different nature and wildlife experience. On arrival, check your room for refreshing and lunch. In the late evening, your guide will take you through the Solio Ranch in search of the Big five, wild dogs, and some predators found in the area. Here on your game drive, you will see various species of birds—dinner and overnight at Sandai Guest cottages.

Like the wildlife, your day’s adventure will begin early this morning. Alongside an experienced guide-tracker, set off on the day’s safari and discover the stunning biodiversity of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Search for the Big 5 Africans, including the African elephant, Cape buffalo, rhino, leopard, and king of beasts, the lion. Many other species of birds and wildlife also inhabit this vibrant region, including hyenas, gazelles, impalas, giraffes, zebras, vultures, cranes, eagles, hawks, and ostriches, which you will see a lot on this morning walk in the Masai Mara. Your expert guide will determine the places visited, as they have an intimate understanding of the animals’ daily routines and how best to follow them. These spotted cats blend in almost perfectly with tall grasses and shrubs and are even harder to spot when in their favorite spot, trees. After an exciting afternoon game drive, you will be returned to your lodge in time to cool off for a delicious dinner.
