Mt. Wellington, Huon Valley and Tahune Airwalk Day Trip with Bonorong Option

Mt. Wellington, Huon Valley and Tahune Airwalk Day Trip with Bonorong Option

Departing from Hobart on this 6 to 7 hour tour, you will start the day with a visit to the summit of Mt Wellington to take in the stunning 360-degree views of Hobart, the Derwent River, and the Huon Valley. If weather affects the view from the summit, we will take an alternate route and take you first to Mt Nelson signal station with its Hobart and Derwent River views, a favourite viewing spot for the arrival of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race competitors.
You will then continue your journey into the Huon Valley, past the beautiful towns of Huonville, Franklin, Geeveston and out to Tahune Adventures and its popular AirWalk, offering views out over its wild rivers and beyond to the neighbouring Southwest World Heritage Wilderness Area.
At the end of the day, the group can opt for the 8 to 9 hour tour option and visit a local wildlife park, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (this option is not necessarily available for some Cruise Ship passengers, depending upon cruise ship's schedule).
