Trekking at Los Nevados National Natural Park

Medium and high mountain Trekking in Los Nevados National Natural Park, a place that contain the endangered tropical glaciers, and there is the Paramo and cloudy forest ecosystems, very important ecosystems to produce a lot of water, in fact more or less the 70% of the Colombian population uses the water from the paramos. Itinerary

Day 1: Cocora valley (2.400) - La Argentina (3.400)

Stop At: Cocora, Cocora, Quindio Department
See the wax palms, the tallest palms of the world and the national tree.

Then keep walking to the cloudy forest, a very preserve ecosystem typical from the andean tropical mountains
Duration: 8 hours

Accommodation included: Very traditional, no electricity at during the night

Day 2: La Argentina (3400) - Chispas Summit (4400 m) - Finca La Playa (TOLIMA) or Finca El Berlin (RISARALDA)

Stop At: Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados, Eje Cafetero, Manizales Colombia
Meet the paramo ecosystem and the last tropical glaciers on the snow peaks.
Climb up a beautiful mountain where you will have a great view of the landscape of the national natural park, feeling the cold mountains, sometimes it's cloudy, so we have to be lucky to see a lot.
So many bird species are there, so we are going to looking them also.
Duration: 12 hours

Day 3: Finca La Playa (TOLIMA) or Finca El Berlin (RISARALDA) - Pereira or Salento

Stop At: Reserva Natural Acaime, Valle Del Cocora, Salento Colombia
We're going to descend from the paramo until The hummingbird's house, cross by, and finishing in Cocora valley again, then take a transportation to go to Salento again and enjoy a hot meal there
Duration: 8 hours

• Breakfast: at the farm before to start
• Lunch: In Salento at the end of the day, several options included
