Day Trip to Troodos Mountain and Kykkos Monastery from Paphos
Most of our trip will pass through the picturesque Troodos mountain range, famous for its magnificent green forests and clean mountain air. There, at the foot of the mountains among vineyards, lies Omodos village. Omodos is a picturesque village located in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus. The village is known for its traditional architecture, cobblestone streets, and charming village square, which is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops.
We will also stop at the winery, where you will have a chance to taste Commandaria and Zivania among other local wines.
We will visit the island’s richest and most famous monastery, Kikkos Monastery. Here one of the miraculous icons of the Virgin Mary is kept, which is said to have been painted by St Lucas during her lifetime.
You will also have a chance to visit the Birthplace of APHRODITE – this is one of the most stunning places on the coast of Cyprus, where, and for a good reason, Aphrodite emerged from the sea foam.

Stop At: Kykkos Monastery (Panagia tou Kykkou), 20km (12 miles) W of Pedoulas village, Pedoulas Cyprus

Stavros Restaurant is situated in Pedoulas village, a popular mountain holiday resort. The place it consists of a restaurant, a cafeteria and a monastery church/ souvenir shop.It offers a clean, secure and fully air-conditioned comfortable environment.
