Meeting point of two rivers (Thimphu & Paro) and meeting point of four highways, Thimphu, Paro, Haa and Chukha offers spectacular views of the area. This is quick stop for leg stretch walk and picture only.

Memorial chorten built in memory of late 3rd King and good place to take pictures of Bhutanese senior citizen.

Day 3: Thimphu to Phobjikha | 4 Hrs Stop At: Dochula Pass, Thimphu Bhutan
One of the most popular location to stop over for hot tea/coffee with stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the Great Himalayan mountain ranges. The view is especially scenic and very clear on winter days with snowcapped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquility of the 108 chortens gracing the mountain pass.

Day 4: Phobjikha to Punakha | 3 Hrs Stop At: Gangtey Monastery, Gangtey Bhutan
Situated atop a hill at an altitude of 2800m, it is an important monastery of Nyingmapa school of Buddhism which is considered as the main seat of Pema Lingpa Tradition. It depicts the detail Bhutanese unique art and architecture. The monastery is surrounded by small village with traditional houses that adds the beauty of the landscape.

Day 6: Paro Sightseeing Stop At: Taktsang Gompa, Bum La Road, Tawang 790104 India
An essential pilgrimage climb will take your breath away; the sight will give it back! It is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious Buddhist site in the Bhutan. A tourist attraction that will actually feel worth it. The trek to monastery will start you with stunning views and give you knowledge about rich Bhutanese culture and history. The monastery clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the Paro valley. Taktsang is one of the most famous attraction in Paro especially among the tourist visiting Bhutan. Although good trekkers can make it to the top in two hours, most of the guests take whole day to complete the hike.

This is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. This temple dates back to 7th century built by Tibetan king Songsten Gampo. legends believe that the temple was built on the left foot of the giant demon who was preventing the spread of Buddhism in the Himalayan region. The temple has many relics and is a must visit temple while you are at Paro.
