3-Days Discovery Of Angkor: Waterfalls,Floating Village and Banteay Srei temple

Angkor Wat temple is not the only place you can visit while you are in Siem Reap town. This 3-days tour is included taking visitors to discover all spectacular temples and Phnom Kulen National Park, beautiful waterfalls, local market, schools, countryside and the floating village at Tonle Sap Lake.
Please note: The best time to visit Phnom Kulen National Park(waterfalls) and Floating Village (Tonle Sap Lake) is in raining season from August-January.

Itinerary

Day 1: Explore the Angkor Thom, Bayon, Angkor Wat and See sunset at hilltop of Phnom Bakheng

Stop At: Angkor Thom South Gate, National Road #6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Our local guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am from your hotel lobby. Before taking you to the Angkor Archaeological Park, we will take you to buy the Angkor pass first and drive you to the last ancient capital city of the Khmer Empire names as Angkor Thom (Gigantic city).
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom, Siem Reap Cambodia
The Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th or early 13th century as the state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII, the Bayon stands at the centre of Jayavarman's capital, Angkor Thom.

Stop At: Baphuon Temple, Angkor Archaelogical Park, Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia
The Baphuon is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It is located in Angkor Thom, northwest of the Bayon. Built in the mid-11th century, it is a three-tiered temple mountain built as the state temple of Udayadityavarman II dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva.

Stop At: Terrace of the Elephants, Angkor Thom Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
The Terrace of the Elephants is part of the walled city of Angkor Thom, a ruined temple complex in Cambodia. The terrace was used by Angkor's king Jayavarman VII as a platform from which to view his victorious returning army.

Stop At: Terrace of the Leper King, Angkor Thom Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
The Terrace of the Leper King is located in the northwest corner of the Royal Square of Angkor Thom, Cambodia. It was built in the Bayon style under Jayavarman VII, though its modern name derives from a 15th-century sculpture discovered at the site. The statue depicts the Hindu god Yama, the god of death

Stop At: Angkor Archaeological Park, Taphul, Siem Reap Cambodia
We will have a lunch break in Angkor Park at a local restaurant after a lot walking for about 45 minutes to 60 minutes. For food and drink, you will need to pay by yourself.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
After you've finished your lunch, our guide will accompany you to explore the Angkor Wat temple is a temple complex in Cambodia and is the largest religious monument in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Phnom Bakheng, Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17000 Cambodia
If you are not too exhausted after visited Angkor Wat temple and the weather, we will take you to see the sunset at hilltop of Bakheng Mountain. Normally we have to start climbing up the mountain at 4:00 pm because there is a limitation amount of visitors. But if you prefer to come back to your hotel early, you just inform our tour guide.

Day 2: Banteay Srei, Kampong Phluk with Tonle Sap Lake & Kulen Mountain (Waterfalls,Reclining Buddha,River of 1000 Shiva Linga)

Stop At: Phnom Kulen National Park, Cambodia
Please take: You can swim at the waterfalls but there is not much water at waterfalls during the dry season from March-July.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am to Phnom Kulen National Park. There is a huge reclining Buddha stone statue that was built in the 16th century, the largest waterfall in Cambodia and a river of a thousand Shiva lingas( It is considered as a holy river for Khmer people) on the hilltop.
We will stop on the way for lunch before going to the next destination.

Stop At: Banteay Srei, Siem Reap Cambodia
The Banteay Srei or Banteay Srey is a 10th-century Cambodian temple with incredible sculptures dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. It is considered as one of the impressive temples in Angkor region.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Kampong Phluk Floating Village, Siem Reap Cambodia
Before getting back Siem Reap downtown, We continue to visit the Kampong Phluk flooded village and the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia called Tonle Sap Lake by taking a private boat ride for about 45 minutes to 60 minutes for around trip.Your tour will be taken care very well by our professional tour guide. No tourist scam.

Please note: The best time to visit the floating village at Tonle Sap lake is from August-February.

Day 3: Watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat and see others temples: Ta Prohm, Preah Khan, Neak Pean,Ta Som, Pre Rup and East Mebon

Please ask your hotel’s staff to pack a takeaway breakfast and we will pick you up at 4:40 am for the sunrise tour at Angkor Wat temple.
In order to avoid huge crowd, We will take you to Ta Prohm known as ‘’Tomb raider temple” after you've finished your breakfast.

Stop At: Ta Prohm Temple, Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 21000 Cambodia
Ta Prohm was used as a location in the film Tomb Raider . Although the film took visual liberties with other Angkorian temples , its scenes of Ta Prohm were quite faithful to the temple's actual appearance, and made use of its eerie qualities

Stop At: Pre Rup, National Road #6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Pre Rup temple is considered as a Pyramid temple dedicated to lord Shiva. It was built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction.

Stop At: Ta Som, Angkor Archaeological Park, 17252 Cambodia
Ta Som is a small temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built at the end of the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII. It is located north east of Angkor Thom and just east of Neak Pean. The most attraction part of Ta Som temple is East Gate with tree grow on top of gate.

Stop At: Neak Pean, Angkor Wat Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Neak Pean at Angkor, Cambodia is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baray, which was associated with Preah Khan temple, built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII.

Stop At: Preah Khan, Angkor Wat Angkor Archaelogical Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Preah Khan is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII to honor his father. It is located northeast of Angkor Thom and just west of the Jayatataka baray, with which it was associated.
