This guided walking tour is 3.5km / 2.2 miles return. Join me as we walk through the spellbinding Siq until we reach the magnificent Treasury. We will continue on to see the Roman Amphitheater, the Street of Facades, and the Royal Tombs. From here we will start the steep uphill climb. However, you will be rewarded at the top with spectacular views over the Treasury below so that you can take the quintessential Petra photo (provided you’re not afraid of heights)!

Itinerary

Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan

The ultimate off the beaten track 'secret' Al Madras trail. Start from the Main Gate of Petra to Djinn blocks, the Obelisk Tomb and Bab Al Siq, walk through Al Madras Mountain through a secret road to view the Siq from the top, Jabal Al Jilf, and the spectacular view from above the Treasury.

Next trek to the High Place of Sacrifice, hike through Wadi Farsa route, to the Renaissance Tomb, Broken Pediment Tomb, Roman Soldier Tomb and colored Triclinium, the Garden Temple, and visit the Lions Fountain. You will then climb to the High Place of Sacrifice and follow the route back down to the main gate where this tour will end.
