Whitewater Rafting 10km and Waterfall Trekking Tour From Chiang Mai

Escape the hustle and bustle of city life on a combined jungle trek and white water rafting activity from Chiang Mai. Cool down at a beautiful waterfall, and learn about the flora and fauna along the way. 3 hour Chiang Mai trekking adventure to a waterfall is a nice way to see the jungle and cool off in the water. The trek itself is about 1.6 Km through the jungle to a 10-meter waterfall. We then take a break here so you can go for a swim. Raft some of Thailand’s best white water rapids on a 10-kilometer route of the Mae Taeng River. The fascinating Mae Taeng River runs through North Eastern Chiang Mai, home to rolling waterways and magnificent hills. The guide along the way will point out flora and fauna and some of the cultural aspects of Thailand. Enjoy convenient round-trip transportation from the hotel and a delicious Thai lunch as you sit by breathtaking views of Chiang Mai's nature: green valleys, magnificent hills and exotic fauna.

Itinerary

Benefit from pickup at your hotel in Chiang Mai, and then relax in air-conditioned comfort on the 1.5-hour journey to the adventure base camp. Avail of amenities such as lockers, changing rooms with showers, and a minimart to purchase any snacks or supplies. Get a safety briefing and gear up with state-of-the-art helmets and life vests.

Embark on a 3-hour trek through the jungle to arrive at a 10-meter high waterfall, where you can cool down with a swim. Marvel at the flora and fauna, and hear about the culture of Thailand along the way. Benefit from a longer hike if you are a faster walker and would like to venture past the waterfall.

Then, take part in a 10-kilometer white water rafting adventure and get an adrenaline rush whilst learning new skills. Brave the class III rapid of the most beautiful section of the river, along with action-packed class III and IV rapids in the middle section. Return to base camp for a shower before the drive back to Chiang Mai.
