We are going to visit Hukou waterfall in the morning by driving from Xi’an, this is one of the most famous waterfall on the Yellow River, It is also the second largest waterfall in China. It is known as‘ the Yellow River wonders’. Its surging momentum is the symbol of the Chinese national spirit.

Day tour around Qikou to see the Yellow river culture of China. We will visit Zikou old town and surrounding villages include Xiwan village. Keep going to Pianguan county by the Yellow River after excursion.

We will drive from Pianguan to Mt. Luyanshan in the morning, and then Visit Luya Mountain ,fully enjoy the beautiful view there, trekking on the hanging passway. Then, we will visit Shuozhou 10000 years ice cave. This is a very special cave from the ice age, we will climb into the cave and enjoy this very special place. After that, drive back down to Dongzhai town in the late afternoon.

In the morning, we are going to visit the hanging village nearby. Hanging village is one of the olddest village in Shanxi, most of buildings and roads was support by wooden pillas on the cliff, it’s unique in China.

we will go to the Datong Museum, which has many colorful national cultural relics. Historically, Datong is located in the border area between the Han nationality in the Central Plains and the northern minority nationalities. It is the intersection of farming culture and animal husbandry culture. The ancient culture is colorful and brilliant.

Day 8: Datong-Yungang Grottos- YingxianStop At: Yungang Grottoes, Wuzhou Mountain, Urban Area, Datong 37000 China
Visit one of four most famous grottos in China—Yungang Grottos in the morning. After lunch, take 1.5 hours bus ride to visit Hanging monastery. Hanging monastery is the most special monastery in China, was built on a cliff and the whole temper was supported by wood pillars.

In the morning, visit Yingxian wooden pagoda. This is the biggest and best preserved padoda in China, only built by wood.

We will take about 1 hour bus ride to the Yanmenguan Pass on the Ming dynasty great wall. After lunch in Daixian, we will visit Bianjin tower in Daixian.

Early morning, we start from Changzhi and head for Deep Valley-Jingdi Village, which is located at the intersection of Pingshun in Shanxi Province and Linzhou in Henan Province. Here, surrounded by a cliff, hence the name of the view. Its terrain is not very airy, so that it is not foggy outside the mountain and it is also foggy inside, however clear clouds outside the mountain, and white clouds in the ditch.When the rain is coming, the caves and crevices are full of fog. Smoke gathers between the cliffs and forms a long cloud belt. It gives a mysterious veil to the beautiful mountains and waters. We are standing at a high point and look down. The dark green mountains standing out of the clouds in the white sea of clouds make people fascinated.

We will leave Changzhi in the morning, take 2.5 hours drive to Jincheng, and then visit Huangchengxiangfu and Xiangyu Village. They are the classic North China castle village.

In the morning, we are going to the border of Shanxi and Henan province to see the undergroud village. Underground village is one of the most ancient village in the central China, you can not see any building on the ground, everything underground. We will walk around the village and have local style lunch in the ancient underground house.

Day 14: Mt. HuaStop At: Mount Huashan, Within Huayin, Huayin 714200 China
Morning, We will go to the Huashan which is one of the Five Mountains in China. And also named West Yue. Mt. Hua is famous for its strange risk and the Qinling Mountains branch of‘ the most risky mountain in the world’. We visit to the Mt. Hua by Western cable car up and Northern cable car down and then trekking all the 4 peaks from west to north which will take about 5 hours. Then，drive to the airport.
