We did this tour with our 10 year old granddaughter. We were the only ones on the tour this day but our Guide, Gary Tupper, was excellent, sharing a lot of local knowledge as well. The museums were interesting and informative for us all. We found the pipeline very interesting and unfortunately did hit one of Santa's days off, but nonetheless, the shop was extensive. We also stopped at a wood shop Gary knew and it was interesting how the can make bowls and decorative items from wood. We did purchase a bowl commemorating how home state's statehood. Gary never rushed us and made the trip even more interesting with his local knowledge. I recommend both the tour and particularly Gary. We would definitely do it again if we return to Fairbanks.

Brandon, our guide arrived promptly at 8 and it turned out that we were the only two people on this tour. He was very enthusiastic and exceptionally knowledgeable about the Fairbanks area as well as the native people who originally inhabited Alaska.

We visited the Fairbanks native peoples cultural center and learned more about the people who originally inhabited Alaska. Brandon guided us through the exhibits and explained how the artifacts related to the very survival of the original Alaskan people. We then visited the Alaskan Pipeline and saw how it was constructed. We also visited University of Alaska at Fairbanks where they had a very fine museum of more recent Alaskan history. Our last stop was to the city of the North Pole where we visited and took pictures with Santa Claus. Surprisingly, they also had a Christmas Gift Shop there too.

It was a great day tour!

Excellent tour with interesting information very well presented by Tristen. It was great that Tristen was a native of Fairbanks and had many valuable pieces of historical information. He was able to put them into context so that we were able to get a very good picture of Fairbanks and how it came to be, from founding to the present. He also was able to discuss how it might evolve as future events might impact the future of Fairbanks.

Tristen was very patient and thorough in his descriptions at the various stops and along the way between stops. He was able to present an excellent overview of Fairbanks over the course of this tour. FIVE STARS earned.

Our tour of Fairbanks was excellent.
Our driver/guide was Randy, and we learned so much about life in Alaska.
Both museums were very interesting, and it was a lot of fun to visit the North Pole and help Santa to mail customized letters to our grandchildren.

This is a very worthwhile tour, our tour guide is very knowledgeable, he picked us up promptly at 8 am in the hotel. We went to North Pole to see Santa's house which is also a gift shop, then to Santa's barn to see his 8 beautiful Reindeers! We also visited Trans Alaska Pipeline, a couple of museum, one is a Community museum at down town Fairbanks, and the second one is a modern and beautiful Museum of the North - managed by University of Alaska in Fairbanks. Our guide accompanied us during the museum visit, and gave us further inside knowledge of the local terrains during different season, and how the native Alaskan travel during those time.

Our tour guide was at our hotel promptly. He took us on a brief tour of Fairbanks, the Morris Thompson Cultural Center, a segment of the Alaskan pipeline, the Museum of the North at the University of Alaska, and a visit to North Pole, a town outside of Fairbanks that has a year-round Christmas shop. He walked us through the Morris Thompson Cultural Center. The highlight was the Museum of the North. Admission was included in the tour, but it was self-guided. They have a magnificent collection of artifacts, bones, art, and more. The pipeline segment was interesting. I could have done without the Christmas Shop.

Santa Clause has day offs that can change without notice. That information should have been posted on the disclaimers and the ads. The visiting sites are just ok, no wow factors. The van smells heavy cigarette smoke. The tour is way over price.
We went on a day when there was no Santa Clause at Santa Clause house. We was not aware when we booked the tour.
