Antisana Volcano Birding & Natural History Condor Tour PRIVATE, all included

Antisana Volcano Birding & Natural History Condor Tour PRIVATE, all included

Antisana is just a worthy glimpse in the heart of the Andes between 10500 ft to 15000 ft a.s.l. An early departure from Quito brings you to the western entrance of Antisana Ecological Reserve, just about 30 miles southeast from Quito, with a mixture of habitats from montane forest below and paramo grassland above.  Enjoy the fascinating Andean scenery and Antisana Volcano (18,886 ft a.s.l.) the fourth highest peak of Ecuador covered by the largest glacier in the country.

Get inspired by nature and see many high altitude wildlife specialties along the way, including Ecuadorian Hillstar visiting the Chuquiragua bushes, the iconic and vulnerable Black-faced Ibis and many other species at the beautiful lake "La Mica".

The tour includes a delicious lunch at Tambo Condor while admiring the hummingbirds flying around the flowers and feeders in the garden. Here you have privileged view of the most important Andean Condor nesting and roosting sites. Drop off at your hotel.
