8 Day Backcountry Experience in Bariloche

Are you looking for a balanced snowboard holiday? LUX gives you a unique opportunity to combine the excitement of snowboarding with the relaxation of yoga. Set in gorgeous surroundings and led by splitboard guides and yoga instructors, LUX retreat will stay in your heart forever. A daily schedule of yoga and winter sports exercises will have you heading home with an elite body and relaxed mind.

With Bariloche as your home base, you will find that each day you stand at a one-of-a-kind and fortunate crossroads: to either kick back and simply take in the quiet comforts of our lodge and rustic sauna or to set out on a journey (entirely yours!) to discover the wonders hidden within a vast mountain wilderness.

Itinerary

Earn your turns! Hike up, find your line, ride down. It’s called Ski Touring – No lifts, no lines, just pure alpine terrain. With over 9,000 Hectares of mountain wilderness, you are guaranteed to find your unique fresh adventure. With local experts and an avalanche refresher at the beginning of the week, we will make sure you stay safe in the backcountry! We want to optimally choose our days in the backcountry. Some days are better than others, which is why the retreat’s schedule is solely weather-dependent. We will be able to give you a day-to-day plan when you arrive. Aiming for at least 3 days in the backcountry and one day of resort riding.

Day 1 Morning meditation
Avalanche refresher + movie night

Day 2 :
Take the boat across the lake and skin up to the hut
~ sleep in the hut ~

Day 3: Skiing
Split into two groups
Evening meditation
~ Sleep in the hut ~

Day 4: Morning meditation
Smaller, quick tour

Day 5: Morning yoga session
Spa Day + relaxing
Afternoon boat tour Or similar sightseeing

Day 6 Resort Riding
Asado + Party At the lodge

Day 7 Morning Yoga session
Pack out + leave the house
