Stop At: San Ignacio Mini - Jesuit Missions of the Guaranis, 3322 San Ignacio, San Ignacio 3300 Argentina

Settled in 1696 in its current location, San Ignacio Mini is a great example of what were the Missions of Jesuits in southern South America. This tour, starting near to the Iguazu Falls, takes three hours driving, so starting earlier is essential to garantee a better day discovering the country side in Misiones Province, Argentina.

Wanda mines is a guided visit where you will me able to enter in tunnels where geodes of amethysts are extracted and prepared to be sold. Some stones from other parts od Argentina also can be found. This optional visit takes about one hour.
