The beautiful Uyuni salt flats are the world’s largest salt flat. It is located in the Department of Potosi in Southwest Bolivia at 3.650 meters above sea level.
La Isla del Pescado (Fish Island), which is located on the salt flat, is full of giant cactuses and named this way as the ´island´ has the shape of a fish. It is the only sign of life for miles.
Laguna Verde, Laguna Colorada and the hot springs can also be visited during this tour. Laguna Verde is a beautiful green colored lake close to the Chilean border at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. Its color is caused by sediments, containing copper minerals. Laguna Colorada is a red colored lake, also because of the presence of minerals. The lagoons together with the flamingos create a very unique scene of spectacular beauty!

You will be picked up from your hotel in Uyuni to visit the Train Cemetery, an open field museum.
You will visit the town of Colchani, the salt processing plants, and continue your trip to visit the Incahuasi Island (island of Giant Cacti).
You will have a private lunch in the middle of the Uyuni salt flat with views of the volcano. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a unique sunset accompanied by a special toast.

Day 2: Altiplanic lagoonsStop At: Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve of Andean Fauna, Bolivia
You will visit the Altiplanic Lagoons of Bolivia, and know the nesting of pink flamingos, volcanoes, deserts, geysers of morning sun, and Stone Tree and Red Lagoon.
Overnight at Polques, a stone hotel with private room with bathroom and shower.
